Google Adsense Relevant Content

If your intention is to make money with Google Adsense, you need to understand "relevant content." Without relevant content, making money with Google Adsense will be much more difficult. Or your earnings potential will not be as good as it could be. When you first sign up with Google Adsense, you will make next to nothing usually. Building a foundation of content is what you need to do in order to make money later. This all needs to be relevant content. Build a lot of content and in a few months you should start to see consistent earnings. What you need to do, whether your brand new to Adsense or want to increase income is be relevant. In other words, stay on topic. Stay within that niche or category.

Building relevant content

When building a website, blog, or producing articles, relevancy is key. This is how google adsense revenue can be higher for you. Websites, generally, need to focus on a specific topics more than article based sites. For instance, if you want to build a website about losing weight, then all your content should be based upon that. Nothing else! The reason why is because people want to learn how to lose weight. You need content within that website that focuses on that. Keywords like shedding those extra pounds, how to lose weight, lose weight fast, exercise, and similar words need to be utlilized. Don't write content within that is about cars, animals, gaining weight, or other things.

This may seem obvious to some, but many people online try and focus on too much for one website. Your visitors are usually looking for one particular thing. If your website has content that is irrelevant, then they may be tempted to leave. Why? Because not everything there is what there looking for. If everything in your website focuses on one specific topic, then visitors will be easier to attract. Traffic should also be easier to gather because your focusing on "one niche", and not multiple ones. Google adsense earnings will be much better for you when your content is solid relevant content. Your google adsense account will not do the work for you. Your the one who needs to build a lot of content. Relevant content within the pages....This is how you can have better success with adsense.

Blogs and google adsense

Generally speaking, blogs are not the best way to make money with google adsense. Sure, money can be made with them, but how much? Most of the time, blogs are about personal topics. People on the internet are usually searching for information, news, and entertainment. Blogs don't typically have these things in them. Writing about your life story is not what others are searching for. Unless perhaps if it's a famous person's blog, that famous person could make a lot of money because they are high profile. The average person, however, should have content that has information, news, or entertainment value to it. Blogs are just not relevant content most of the time. A google adsense blog will likely not be as beneficial as a large website or article(s).

Article Sites

Article sites are a much better way of making money with google adsense than a personal blog is. An article is about a specific topic. These are what your primary focus should be on if you intend to make money with adsense. These are more relevant than blogs are usually. The site this article is written on, hubpages.com, is a great way to make money with adsense. There are also other sites on the net where you can write for free like this site. This site offers google adsense revenue sharing.

Article keywords and relevant content

Even when you write an article, you need to remember to stay relevant. Make sure your content stays on topic. This is very important because you could turn a possible visitor to that article away if it has misleading title or tags. A misleading title is a big mistake that can have a negative effect on how much money you can potentially make with google adsense.

For example, you want to write an article about golf. You name the title and url "playing golf". Then in the content of your paragraphs you talk about different golf clubs, best places to golf, and buying golf balls. The title "playing golf" is too general. Some people may find your content, but others won't. Why? Because it's simply to general of a title and you focused on multiple things about golf. The majority of people are looking for something specific in a topic.

An article should be about a specific topic within that subject. This would do much better: "how to improve your golf swing". Then write content in your paragraphs about how to improve your golf swing. Don't talk about buying golf clubs or the best places to golf. Visitors will be more interested if its focused on one specific thing within that topic. Your title and keywords within that article need to be relevant. Relevant content will lead to better earnings.

Tags need to be relevant

When you write an article, the tags need to pertain to what is being discussed in the article. This will get you better indexed in the google search engines. This is also important because it is of course, relevant content. Don't include tags that have nothing to do with the article. This is a big mistake! Another mistake is to include tags that are in the article, but are not the main focus of it. All your tags should be as relevant to the topic as possible and be in the content itself.

Google Adsense relevant content

Whether your looking to make money with a website, blog, or with articles, all the content needs to be relevant. I personally, do not recommend blogs though, unless you truly focus on what people will be interested in. Content is king. Relevant content is queen...haha..No,but seriously, relevant content will lead to better earnings in the long run. Just remember websites need to focus on one topic or niche. If you plan on making 100s of articles on an article directory , then you have more leeway on writing on different topics. Just make sure that each specific article is relevant in the paragraphs etc.

I agree. The main objective of creating these adsense account and contents must have a good and relevant content. Without this, you might end up with nothing and worse, google might tag you as spam if you post irrelevant contents.

Jeanie.stecher,

Good point, adding tags that are not relevant may possibly penalize you in googles eyes. I believe that people may even put the wrong keywords just to try and get more traffic cause that keyword is a popular. This is not true though. That would only be misleading anyway

Go for Market Samurai. I did and have been writing 'adsense relevant content' since then. But seriously, writing should not be just focussed on Adsense, adsense will figure out which ads suit your hub. So concentrate on the writing part and of course bringing in the traffic

Great Hub David,

I'm a firm believer that content is "King". And writing about topics your already familiar with works well. I think if someone is looking for quantity you can really write up a storm if your well versed in that particular subject.

@ Thriller, yes adsense will figure out which add suits, but you need to make sure the content such as words, tags, and title are all similar so adsense will be able to make the ads better. Oh and nice profile picture

@Alternative Prime

Yes, quantity and quality can be achieved if you know that subject well.

Informative, though a bit of repetition takes the sheen off this article. Helpful nevertheless.

Wow this article changed my perspective a bit! I've had a google blog for almost 4 years now, haven't made hardly anything, and just now realized [with your words] it's probably due to it being a 'variety' or 'personal' blog, and not focused on any one thing...even though I have certain subjects I post on...the ads never seem to relate that well... Where to find a free online webpage source?

Thanks for the comment mobias. Yesh, variety based on HubPages is okay because we have separate hubs, but it's not usually a good idea on a website.

Good information. My mistake was using the all tags hubpages suggested, guess Im learning as I go. I'm new the the game of trying to make money with what I write, for years I just wrote for the fun of it, but after making $90 (not here at Hubpages, yet), by accident, it gave me confidence to try. Thanks, I read some of your other hubs and they were informative as well.

Excellent article with relevant material. Some of the information was new to me ie. that the tags need to be very relevant to the topic. I sometimes use tags that are mentioned once in the article, and maybe that is wrong. I hope to find more of your hubs with tips on SEO and elements that will increase traffic. Your article was easy to follow and very organized with good use of words for everyone. Thanks for sharing.

I wonder, is it still worth to create more content on huge article sites after continuous Google Panda update?
