Dead Rising 2 Psychopath Randy "Here Comes the Bride" Strategy

Randy Tugman is a psychopath boss battle in Dead Rising 2. He is an obese man in a fetish costume wielding a giant chainsaw. He is holding a woman in a wedding dress hostage, and forces his father to marry them who is also taken hostage. When Chuck arrives, his father calls for help. Randy then chainsaws his father, and blames Chuck for ruining his big moment.

This battle can be pretty tough. Your character should have at least 6 health bars as you will likely take damage. (7+ would be better) Be prepared to carry a few healing supplies as well. Milk, orange juice, and even alcohol drinks work well. Just do not drink to much alcohol or chuck will get sick. You do not need guns for this fight, but it may make it a lot easier with at least one.(preferably shotgun)

Randy Tugman runs at you with a chainsaw. For an obese man, he is very fast. Combo weapons can do a lot of damage. The flaming boxing gloves, or the spiked boxing gloves are very effective. They are fast, and do a lot of damage.Other combo weapons may work well too.

Try and avoid Randy Tugman's attacks as much as possible. You can jump over the walls in the room which forces him to run to the other side. When Randy taunts, you can shoot him in the pig face that covers his crotch. This will stun him, and leave him open for attack.

You will likely to damage during this fight. If he knocks you down with the chainsaw, get back up, and attack him with a combo weapon. Then either run away, or continue to attack as long as your health is up. If your health starts to get low, run away, and heal yourself quickly. Randy will often charge with the chainsaw, so be sure to roll out of the way and keep running.

Another strategy that may work or may not, is jumping on the seats in the room. This may cause Randy to be unable to hurt you. He may run in the far corners of the room. This can give you can opportunity to shoot him with guns whilst your on top of the seats. You CAN be knocked down though. If you see him getting close, he may hit you with the chainsaw. If you only have melee weapons, then you will not be able to damage him while on top of the seats.

The best way to beat Randy is to keep hitting him with powerful combo weapons, and watch your health. Guns also work well, but unless you have a lot, save them until his health his almost depleted. In this fashion, you can damage him from a distance without taking damage.

Key Components:

• Shoot Randy's pig face covering his crotch when he taunts Chuck. This causes him to stumble over, and allows him open for attack.

• Use powerful combo weapons for maximum damage. The flaming boxing gloves, and spiked boxing gloves are effective. They are fast, and powerful. Other combo weapons may work just as well.

• Bring along healing supplies, and always heal yourself when your health is low. Get as far away from Randy Tugman when attempting to do this. (milk, orange juice, and alcohol beverages work well)

• Jumping on the seats in the room may allow you to get some easy shots on Randy with your guns. (if you bring some) This does not guarantee that you will not get knocked down though.

• Trade attacks with Randy. If he knocks you down with the chainsaw, get back up and hit him with combo weapons. (Just make sure you have the health to do so)
